King Muwatallis: King Muwatallis is a brave king who led the most well known Hittite battle, the Battle of Kadesh. The Hittites had been aiming to obtain Syria for a long time and King Muwatallis planned to get it. The only thing he had to beat was the Egyptians, led by Ramses II. Muwatallis ended up winning the Battle of Kadesh, but he lost lots of his men. What makes Muwatallis a great king? Well, near the end of the battle he took some men to take out 500 of the Egyptian chariots to save what men had survived. This battle thing is a bunch of confusion, but what makes him the greatest king is that he went back for his men. He did not have to save his men; he could have let them die. If I had a king that went to battle against 500 chariots, I would certainly view him as a REAL king. That is my opinion.
